Custom Cartons, is part of the Detmold Group who are a leading manufacturer of paper and board packaging products with 6 manufacturing locations and over 22 sales offices in 15 countries. Custom Cartons are based in Brompton and service the growing demand for small run cartons in Australia and offer an extensive range of packaging cartons to a wide range of industries.

A great opportunity has become available for an experienced PrePress Operator to join our team in a part-time role (approx. 20 hrs per week). Hours and days to be negotiated.

Working as part of a small dynamic team within this fast pace manufacturing environment, to be successful in this busy and energetic environment, you will ideally possess:

• Proficient skills in the use of Adobe’s Creative Suite
• Previous pre-press experience, an understanding of lithographic and flexographic printing and colour management
• Artwork manipulation skills to suit printing capabilities 
• Ability to interpret customer briefs and creation of concept artwork and proofing 
• Understanding and experience with Esko software would be advantageous
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce a high standard of work
• A "can do" attitude
• Self-driven, proactive and highly organised
